Myrrh oil is a precious resin-derived essential oil renowned for its rich, warm aroma and therapeutic properties. Extracted from the resin of the Commiphora tree, Myrrh is notably viscous, requiring gentle handling and patience during use. To facilitate application, this oil features a larger dropper; however, it may occasionally solidify. Simply warm the bottle gently in your hands to restore its liquid state before use.
Traditionally celebrated for its healing qualities, Myrrh oil is highly valued for supporting respiratory wellness, especially during the winter months. For an effective inhalation therapy, combine 1 drop each of Myrrh, Benzoin, and Lavender oils in a bowl of boiling water. Cover your head and shoulders with a towel and breathe in the soothing vapors for several minutes to help ease congestion and promote relaxation.
Myrrh also blends beautifully with other essential oils for topical applications. Create a nourishing massage oil by mixing 1 drop of Myrrh, 2 drops of Geranium, and 1 drop of Peppermint with 10ml of Coconut oil.
