Rose has been highly prized for centuries, with over 10,000 cultivated varieties widely used in toiletries for both men and women. Extracting oil from rose petals is a delicate and challenging process, primarily achieved through two methods: solvent extraction to produce a concrete that is then refined into an absolute, and steam or water distillation to obtain an essential oil. While absolute production yields a greater quantity of oil, distillation results in a much finer and more nuanced fragrance.
Rose Otto, named after the Ottoman Empire, is the distilled oil derived from very fresh rose petals using water or steam distillation. Due to the fragility of the petals, this process requires exceptional skill and precision. Absolute Aromas has carefully selected this Rose Otto for its outstanding purity and exceptional quality.
This product features 100% pure and natural Rose Otto, conveniently diluted to 3% in Coconut Oila light, nourishing oil known for its moisturizing properties.
