Description
Cytoplan Fos-A-Dophilus 6 Live Strain Probiotic with GUARD® Technology is an advanced probiotic supplement designed to support digestive health and maintain a balanced gut flora, especially for adults over the age of 40. This improved formula incorporates patented GUARD® technology, a natural and innovative delivery system that effectively protects the live bacterial strains from stomach acid, ensuring their timed release within the intestines for optimal efficacy.
Each capsule delivers a high potency of four billion live bacteria, comprising six carefully selected probiotic strains that have been specially cultivated for stability at room temperature and activity throughout the entire gastrointestinal tract. This makes it a reliable choice for promoting digestive comfort, supporting immune function, and enhancing overall gut health.
GUARD® technology not only safeguards the probiotic strains during transit through the harsh stomach environment but also contributes to a reduction in prebiotic content, resulting in a smaller capsule size. The new formula may appear clumpier due to the fine powder characteristic of GUARD® technology, which is a normal and expected feature. Despite these changes, the probiotic potency remains consistent with previous batches.
Key Benefits:
- High potency probiotic delivering 4 billion live bacteria per capsule
- Contains six specially selected live strains for comprehensive gut support
- GUARD® technology protects bacteria from stomach acid and enables timed release
- Stable at room temperature and active throughout the entire gastrointestinal tract
- Smaller capsule size due to reduced prebiotic content
- Ideal for adults over 40 seeking digestive and immune health support
This probiotic supplement is suitable for individuals looking to maintain digestive balance, enhance nutrient absorption, and support a healthy immune system. Its advanced delivery system ensures the live bacteria reach their target site intact, maximizing effectiveness and promoting long-term gut health.

Let’s Hear What Our Customers Have To Say
Product and price are both 5 star. Courier awful. Tracking less than useless but seriously, these items are fabulous. And this was definitely the best price I’ve seen. I’ll put up with the longer delivery time. It’s not the seller’s fault at all. I’m telling all my T2D friends about these. The only crisp type snack...
value for money, so tired of throwing fresh berries in food bin due to their condition. These are organic, freeze dried nearly 100% as good as fresh berries, and more importantly none will be thrown away. once opened will last 2 months.
Good quality product, higher dha/epa than others, being in a foiled pouch helps keep fresh and doesn't allow light to oxidise as fast as clear packaging. Recommended.
came with good protection and use by date of 2/2028 which is good.. not a flavour ever seen in shops.. one of my fave flavours so I'm happy.. T1 diabetic
These are the best gluten free ginger biscuits I’ve ever tasted - very highly recommended! Great company to order from and prompt delivery.
I really like these little crackers. They are really crisp , crunchy and tasty. They also seem very healthy for a snack.

Frequently Asked Questions
We're a UK health retailer that has been supplying trusted wellness brands since 2014. We stock a wide range of supplements, natural foods and wellbeing products from established brands, all in one place, with free UK tracked delivery on orders over £25 and 60-day free returns. Our team is on hand by email and live chat if you need help choosing.
Food-first means we believe everyday nutrition is the foundation of wellbeing. A varied, balanced diet comes first, and supplements are there to support it, not replace it. That's why our range includes healthy foods, drinks and pantry staples alongside vitamins and supplements.
Start with the product description, ingredients and directions on each page. Our buying guides on the journal explain the differences between forms and strengths for popular supplements such as magnesium, vitamin D and probiotics. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or take medication, please speak to your GP or pharmacist before starting a new supplement. Our team can help with product questions, but we can't give medical advice.
Many people combine supplements as part of a daily routine. Check the labels, though, to avoid taking more of the same nutrient than intended, as some vitamins and minerals appear in several products. Never exceed the recommended intake on each label. If you take prescription medication or have a health condition, check with your GP or pharmacist before combining supplements.
We choose brands and products based on quality, customer demand and trusted manufacturing standards. Our range focuses on established health and wellness brands. We keep it under review, adding new products our customers ask for and removing ones that don't meet our standards.
We stock products from well-known health and wellness brands. Orders are dispatched from our UK base Monday to Friday and on Sundays. Each product page shows the brand, ingredients and any dietary information, such as vegan or vegetarian suitability, where the manufacturer provides it.
Yes. Our team is happy to help with product questions by email at customerservices@healthplusliving.com or via live chat on the site. You can also browse by routine (Fuel, Move, Focus, Unwind and Sleep) to find products grouped around what you're looking to support. For advice about your health, please speak to your GP or pharmacist.
