Description
For people aged between 15 - 50 years old.
Udo’s Choice Adult’s Blend Microbiotics contains 6 adult-specific bacterial strains at an appropriate strength, designed specifically to reflect healthy adult digestive microflora (gut bacteria). An adult’s healthy microflora will closely resemble that of a child but due to their larger size, an adult needs much greater quantities of the same bacteria.
The specific strains used in Udo’s Choice Adult’s Blend have been specially chosen for their value to adult health and have been formulated to the viable count appropriate for adults. Each strain has been specifically chosen for it's role in digestive tract health and the balance of strains has been carefully tested to work in harmony together.
A healthy lower intestine should contain at least 85% beneficial bacteria to prevent the over colonisation of disease causing micro organisms like E.coli and Salmonella.
Each vegetarian capsule contains 17 billion viable cells at time of manufacture and at least 10 billion viable cells at expiry in a base of potato starch, ascorbic acid, stearic acid, and silicon dioxide. Capsule: Hypromellose.
6 Strains
- Lactobacillus casei (HA-108) : 35%
- Lactobacillus rhamnosus (HA-111) : 25%
- Lactobacillus acidophilus (HA-122) : 20%
- Lactobacillus plantarum (HA-119) : 10%
- Bifidobacterium bifidum (HA-132) : 5%
- Bifidobacterium breve (HA-129) : 5%
What are Microbiotics?
Microbiotics are the beneficial bacteria that occur throughout the digestive tract. Poor eating habits, chlorinated drinking water, stress and disease and the use of antibiotics in food production as well as in medical treatments can wreak havoc in the gastrointestinal tract by destroying good bacteria and allowing undesirable bacteria to multiply.
Why do we need Microbiotics?
When the ratio of benefical bacteria to bad is lowered, problems begin to arise such as excessive gas, bloating, intestinal toxicity, constipation and poor absorption of nutrients. Whilst it is true that non-beneficial bacteria are naturally occurring in the intestinal tract problems begin when their growth goes unchecked.
Benefits of Udo's Choice Adult's Blend Microbiotics
- All formula's are tested and guarenteed to survive stomach acidity.
- Ideal for travel - refrigeration ensures maximum potency and stability. However adults blend can be left unrefrigerated for short periods of time, making them convenient for holidays or business travel, especially important when travelling to foreign countries to support your beneficial microflora and helping to combat foreign micro-organisms that may be in the food and water.
- Ideal after antibiotics - antibiotics destroy both good and bad bacteria so it is important to replenish with a high count beneficial bacteria formula such as adults blend after a course of antibiotics.
Gluten Free. Suitable for Vegetarians. May contain traces of Milk and Soya Lecithin.

I m really happy with the Sanatogen High Protein Powder. I have been taking it for a few weeks in an attempt, alongside exercise to rebuild muscle loss after long-term illness. I particularly like that it is sugar and sweetener free. Easy to take with milk and yoghurt or mixed into cereal /soups / sauces
value for money, so tired of throwing fresh berries in food bin due to their condition. These are organic, freeze dried nearly 100% as good as fresh berries, and more importantly none will be thrown away. once opened will last 2 months.
Good quality product, higher dha/epa than others, being in a foiled pouch helps keep fresh and doesn't allow light to oxidise as fast as clear packaging. Recommended.
came with good protection and use by date of 2/2028 which is good.. not a flavour ever seen in shops.. one of my fave flavours so I'm happy.. T1 diabetic
These are the best gluten free ginger biscuits I’ve ever tasted - very highly recommended! Great company to order from and prompt delivery.
I really like these little crackers. They are really crisp , crunchy and tasty. They also seem very healthy for a snack.
The best for midges, saves us from rhe little critters when travelling in rhe Highlands. Arrived super quick too.
Shopping with your company absolutely great , no problems whats so ever. Thank you so much , we appreciate all 👌
Delicious and great ingredients just a shame that are more corn than quinoa and not the other way round.
