Q: What's the difference between the plain Tahini and the flavoured varieties?

The plain Tahini (300g) is the classic sesame paste, used as a savoury ingredient in dishes like hummus, baba ganoush and dressings, or drizzled over savoury dishes. The flavoured varieties -- Carob, Chocolate and Grape Tahini (all 220g) -- blend the tahini base with a sweeter ingredient, positioning them more as a spread (similar to how you'd use a nut butter) than a savoury cooking ingredient. If you're cooking a traditional Middle Eastern dish, reach for the plain Tahini; if you want something to spread on toast or use in a sweeter recipe, the flavoured versions are the better fit.

What's the difference between the standard and Spicy Zaatar and Olive Oil?

Both combine zaatar with olive oil in the same 175g format, with the Spicy version adding extra heat to the blend.

How should tahini be stored?

Tahini can separate naturally, with oil rising to the top -- stir well before use, and store as directed on the jar, typically in a cool place or the fridge once opened.

Are Biladi products suitable for vegans?

Tahini and zaatar-based products are typically plant-based, but always check the specific ingredient list on the jar to confirm for the exact product you're considering.
